A showcase of excellence for the landscaping, stonework, and marblework trades

 

 

From December 2 to 4, 2025, during the Paysalia & Rocalia trade shows, the WorldSkills Arena will be set up at the heart of the event to highlight the fields of excellence in landscaping and natural stone. Organized by Gl events, in partnership with Unep and WorldSkills France, this space will offer visitors a unique immersion into the world of WorldSkills trades and competitions.

Selection event – French team of landscape gardeners

The three best French teams of landscape gardeners, who won gold, silver, and bronze medals at the 48th National Skills Competition in Marseille (October 16- 18, 2025), will compete in a decisive event to secure their place in the French National Skills Team. The prize: participation in the WorldSkills competition in Shanghai (China) in 2026 and the EuroSkills competition in Düsseldorf (Germany) in 2027.

Training – Stone cutting and marble design trades

 

Alongside this selection, the WorldSkills Arena will also welcome young winners from the stone cutting and marble design trades, also from the National Competition in Marseille. They will take part in training sessions under real conditions, focusing on technical and mental preparation, with a view to their future selection for EuroSkills in Düsseldorf in 2027.

Technical demonstrations, precision of movement, team spirit, pushing oneself to the limit: the WorldSkills Arena will offer visitors a concrete illustration of the passion and know-how that drive the young talents in these fields.
