Bruno COMBERNOUX, Head of the Higher Institute for Research and Training in Stone Trades (ISR FMP) since September 2017, gives us his vision of the exhibition of natural stone Rocalia.
Why are you a partner and do you support Rocalia?
The Rocalia fair is a remarkable initiative to highlight the stone industry in France. As a research and training organization, the Stone Institute must participate in a national event of this magnitude. We are committed to:
- share with professionals to develop training for the future.
- know the expectations of the prescribers in order to be force of proposal.
- forge links with new partners and thus promote our materials and know-how through a solidarity-based network.
Why should professionals exhibit at Rocalia?
It is necessary to show that stone by these technical and aesthetic qualities is a material offering a thousand possibilities for the future. The use of new technologies allows us to consider new forms and innovative processes. We must use the show as a showcase for our creativity.
In your opinion, why is it so important to have a natural stone show?
As the name suggests, stone is a natural material whose use with a low carbon footprint. At the time of sustainable development, it is therefore essential to make it known and recognized by the project owner and the general public as an element of the construction and decoration of tomorrow.
